Sacramento Rush

The Sacramento Rush is a team of the Women's Football Alliance scheduled to begin play for the 2011 season. Based in Sacramento, California, the Rush are expected to compete in the Pacific Division.
The team is co-owned by Ed Silva (who also owns the Sacramento Warriors of the brand-new Pacific Coast Football League) and Brad Bednerak, a former Canadian Football League player who will also serve as the Rush's head coach. The Rush are expected to compete for talent and fans with Sacramento's other women's football team, the Sacramento Sirens of the Independent Women's Football League.
